Tuesday Night Thunder!!

Yesterday's Recap and Record
Had a solid day yesterday going 3-1 with wins on the Knicks, Kings, and the Falcons. The Jazz decided not to show up today, and i will be fading them until they prove to me they can compete against good competition. The Knicks controlled the entire game, the Kings needed ot and 48 from Kevin Martin, and the Falcons kept it close the whole game!
Since Nov. 2 (fresh start)- NBA 2-1, NFL 1-0, Overall 3-1

Denver Nuggets @ Indiana Pacers (+5) WINNER

This game jumped at me as soon as i saw it, and i got it at 5 this morning. I figured Denver would be a double digit favorite in this one especially how Carmelo has been playing lately. The Nuggets look like the best offensive team in the NBA, and the Pacers look like the Pacers. Denver has won 4 of the last 5 head to head ats, and are 7-1 ats in their last 8 on the road. They have also covered the spread 12 of the last 16 games when they are favored. They have had some impressive wins this year, and won at Portland allready. The Pacers have allready lost a couple games including a game at home vs Miami. They are 0-2 ATS at home this year, and 1-5 in their last 6 games against the Western Conference. Another trend i have been looking at is days rest, and a lot of teams play bad on 3 days rest. The Pacers lost their only game this year with that much rest.
Nuggets (-5), 1.5 Units

Phoenix Suns @ Miami Heat (-3.5) LOSER

Even though the Suns have started the season out hot, i still think the Heat are the much better team in this one. The Suns have been lights out this year from beyond the arch, but that should change with some lanky defenders such as Beasley. The Heat have won the last 3 games vs the Suns head to head, and Wade comes into this one hot. The Suns are just 1-2 against the spread so far this year, while the heat come in at 3-0 ATS. Miami is 2-0 ats at home so far, and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games which tells me they are still rock solid at home! They also cover a lot of games when they are favored and are 5-1 last 6 ats dating back to last season. Heat- (-3.5), 1 Unit

Utah Jazz @ Dallas Mavericks (-5) WINNER

After watching the Jazz lose at home vs the Rockets i knew i would be playing the Mavericks today, but what i didnt know is that i would only have to give 5 points. I was a little bit down on the Mavericks at first because they are a little old, but Marion, Kidd, and Dirk have been decent so far. On the other hand Boozer just doesnt seem as hard nosed as he used to be early on in the year, but im sure he will be fine. Anyway, The Jazz got embarrassed at home last night, then had to fly to dalls tonight for the 2nd half of their back to back. They also lost their only game on the road this year ats. They are 3-15 ats in their last 18 games as a road underdog, and 0-11 as a rd dog b/w 5-10. The favorite is 4-0 ats in this series, and the Mavs won by 29 last time they played. The Mavs are also 11-1 ats in their last 12 on 2 days rest. Dallas (-5), 1.75 units

Atlanta Hawks @ Portland Trailblazers (-7) WINNER

I had to include one underdog with my slate today, and these one stuck out quickly! The Hawks have been great the last couple years, especially in big games. Even though they are 2-1 overall, they played the Lakers very tough for the first half, and fought hard. They are 3-0 ats on the year, and have coverd 8 of the last ten games against the Western Conference. They have also covered 4 of their last 5 games in Portland. The trailblazers look a little rusty early on, and are 1-2 ats to start the year. They have allready lost to Denver at home this year, and have struggled at times. The underdog is 7-2 ats in their last 9 games in this series, and the road team has covered 9 of the last 11 games. Hawks (+7), 1 Unit

As always... Good Luck and Good Night!
