Dog Day Afternoon- Saturday Winners

Hello Everybody... I have a big card today and im feeling very strong about it. After a week under our belt im starting to get a good feel for these teams and have some nice winners on tap for today.

UGA @ South Carolina (-3.5)
First of all one wide receiver does not make a football team, and Georgia is a good football team with out captain "sell my jersey on facebook". Aaron Murray looked very good last week in his "exhibition" game, and i think he should thrive in this big stage. I still dont see what all the hype is about with South Carolina. Wow, they beat up on Southern Miss, does anyone have a cookie? Lets take the points in this one even though i think Georgia wins by a touchown.
Pick: UGA Bulldogs (+3)

Hawaii @ Army (-3)
Hawaii is not that good of a  football team, especially when they are away from home. Last year they lost to Idaho and Nevada on the road, and one has to ask them self one question Idaho has a football team? Well yes they do, an that same football team beat Hawaii. Army should be improved this year, and have won  of their last 4 games dating back to last year. I think Army will rush for about 500 yards this game en route to a huge vicory.
Pick: Army (-3)

Colorado @ California (-10)
This is just way too many points for a team as bad as call to be giving a decent team. This same Colorado team only lost to Nebraska in their last game of the year by 8 points. This is also an improved team who just went to Colorado State and destroyed them.  This is not the same Cal team we are used to the last 5 years, and they will struggle this year in the Pac 10 (even in a down year). I think Colorado has a chance to win this game outright, and if now fuck it were getting 10 points.
Pick: Colorado (+10)

Fsu @ Oklahoma (-7.5)
I know im biased, but really 7.5 points? Florida State has a veteran team who doesnt care about going on the road and playing in big games (see BYU last year). Christian Ponder loves games like this, and will be ready for this one. Im not saying FSU will win, but it will be a dog fight. Oklahoma is not as great as their ranking, and that will show tomorrow. Lets take the points in this evenly matched game.
Pick: FSU (+7.5)

Michigan @ Notre Dame (-3.5)
First of all id rather lose this bet and have the stadium blow up. Ok now that i have gotten that out of my system what the fuck are they thinking on this line? I thought at worst Michigan would be a Pk after they dismantled a tough Uconn team, so i will happily take 3.5 pts. Notre Dame sucks, i dont care how many times they beat Purdue. They will not be able to stop Robinson on the ground game, and will turn it over when it counts. Michigan will win this thing straight up, but take the points to be safe.
Pick: Michigan (+3.5)

Here are the Im tired, no more write up selections:
Penn State (+12)
Ole Miss (-20)
I might be back to post some more picks later.

As always good luck and good night!

Thursday Winners....

Tired from work but still wanted to share the card with everyone tonight.

Auburn (pk)- I cannot believe this game is a pick em, crazy. This might be my biggest play of the young year so far. Auburn is way to talented for this team no matter where this game is being played.

Saints/Vikings Over 48- This total opened at 54 and is now down to 48 so lets go reverse line movement opening night. I see some firewors in this game an they should have 40+ by halftime.

Temple (-7)- This is straight ride the hot capper pick. Thanks Mark...

Good Luck and Good Night....

Saturday Late Night Winners

Good start to the early games, heres the rest of the card for today:

Washington (+2)
Northwestern (-3.5)
Oregon St (+13.5)
Cinci (+2)

Sensational Saturday Winners 9/4- Afternoon Games

Who is ready for some football? Before I post my afternoon picks please remember that this is the first weekened so tread lightly. With that said i am still very confident with my picks for today. It looks like overall i will have about 10 games on the card. These will be quick and too the point write ups, but they will still give you what you want...Winners!

Western Michigan @ Michigan State (-22.5)
Michigan State is much better than Western Michigan in all facets of the game. These two battled last year with Michigan State romping them 49-14, and I expect it to be even worse than that this year. Western Michigan ended the year only covering 1 of their last 6 games, an MSU is returning a lot of talented starters
Pick: MSU  (-22.5)

Colorado (-10.5) vs Colorado St
I dont have a lot to say about this game, but vengeance is a dish best served cold. Last year Colorado was shocked in a close game which they should of easily won. This will not be the case this year as Colorado is going to take out some anger on their in state rival. Colorado State ended the year with 6 straight losses, while Colorado won  of their last 4. Expect a blow out in this one.
Pick: Colorado (-10.5)

Kentucky (-3) @ Louisville
Kentucky has won the last 3 meetings between these two rivals, and they will make it 4 today. The SEC always beats up on other conference's and Kentucky will do that today in this one.
Pick: Kentucky (-3)

Uconn (+3) @ Michigan
To start off Rich Rodriguez is the worst coach in the enitre county, and he will be serverly out coached and out classed today. Uconn won their last 4 games of the season last year, and they love playing on the road. All of their losses on the road were under 5 points, and they have proven how great they can be. They wlll be running all over Michigan all day long. Michigan lost their last 5 games of the year, and they dont even know who their QB will be. They are a disgrace.
Pick: Uconn (+3)

 North Texas @ Clemson (-27)
Not a lot to say here, Clemson is going to win this game by 42+. They are returing Kyle Parker (which i still dont get) and i think he is ready to prove some things this year. Lots of speed and talent on this team and they will be running wild today.
Pick: Clemson (-27)

Will be posting the rest of the plays later on today...until then.

As Always Good Luck and Good Night!

Friday Night Fever

Recap
Lets just call this "could of been worse" night. I hit a nice one on Pittsburgh last night in the final seconds, and fell short on S.Miss (who did not show up) and USC (who let up). So started off 1-2 on the year.
Texas Rangers @ Minnesota Twins

The Rangers can score some runs, and there eyes with light up tonight when rookie Matt Fox steps to the bump in his first career start. I think this game will be a slug fest with the Rangers ending up on top. Holland hasnt been great, but has shown he has some good stuff. Texas has also won 3 of the last 4 vs the Twinkies. This is some good value vs a rookie pitcher.
Rangers (-112)

Brewers @ Phillies

This will be my game of the week on the diamond when Hamels hosts Capuano in Philadelphia. Hamels has been stellar lately posting a consistent 3.15 era in his last three starts, and a 3.30 era on the year. Capuano has not been as great and has almost an 8 era in his last 3 starts. Tie that in with the Brewers losing 7 of their last 10 games, and the Phillies winning 6 of their last 7 and i feel pretty confident in this game. The Phillies also swept them in Milwaukee this year.

Phillies RL (-110)

Arizona Wildcats @ Toledo who gives a fuck

Im running out of time to post this so lets just say Arizona is going to put the beatdown in Toledo tonight, and Toledo will be done with this game by halftime.

Arizona (-16)

As always good luck and good night!

Opening Night College Football!

Are you Ready??? Well it all begins tonight with a decent slate of action. I will be on three games on this glorious night of football, and we should see three easy winners!

Southern Mississippi (+13.5) @ South Carolina

This should be an interesting game as the Ol' Ball Coach's team is in disarray right now with some off field scandals as well as a little big of a mystery at the quarterback position.  South Carolina ended their season last year on a bad note losing 4 of their last 5, and most of them were not close. This is not as much a play on Southern Miss as a play against South Carolina. I really think this is just way too many points for South Carolina to give to most teams. Southern Miss has covered  3 of their last 4 games l and look to continue that trend. Lets take this road dog tonight.
Southern Mississippi (+13.5)

Pittsburgh Panthers (+3.5) @ Utah Utes

Dion Lewis will carry this Panthers team as far as they are willing to go. This kid is a workhouse, and as they showed last year good defense and a heavy dose of Lewis can bring many wins. Pitt was 5-2 ATS in their last 7 last year and won 5 of their last 7 straight up. Both of those losses were also by less than a fg. This Pitt team is hungry, and the fighting mustaches are ready for a huge year. Utah continues to be at the top of the conference, but they dont play the type of schedule that some of he power houses play. I just dont believe that they have the man power to stop the train that is Dion Lewis. Utah might pull this one of at the last second, so it would be nice to get 3.5 even if you have to buy the hook
Panthers (+3.5)

USC (-20.5) @ Hawaii

I normally dont like taking huge road favorites but have you seen Hawaii play? This team is absolutely brutal, even at home. I know most of you think im crazy to take USC after all that has happened but Kiffin will have those boys ready to play, and prove something. I think this game will get ugly very quickly, and Barkley will pick them apart all game. Id be shocked if the doesn't throw over 350 yard with 3 touchdowns. Also i dont want to hear that USC is playing for nothing this year because they will be playing for respect. They have to start over with that program, and these kids will be ready to go. The last time these two played USC won by 46, and that might happen tonight. Also look at Hawaii's last game last year....Wisconsin 51 Hawaii 10
USC (-20.5)

As always....Good Luck and Good Night

Who you got tonight???? Let me hear your thoughts!

Big Sunday after a Giant Saturday 8/22

Hello World-

Had a huge Saturday Yesterday Going 3-0 picking up 8 units. You will notice that in baseball i never pick any favorites over -125, so you will always get good value with my picks. I have 3 more winners on tap for today, so dont miss out!

New York Mets (-1.5) @ Pittsburgh Pirates

The Mets continued to beat up on the pirates yesterday with an easy 5-1 win, and an easy win for me. The Mets will throw out their ace today, Johan Santana who is 2-1 with a 1.48 ERA in the last 3 starts. Johan wlll be facing the Pirates "Ace" Zach Duke who has not been nearly as good. He is 5-12 with a 5.32 ERA this year and has not been improving. The Pirates have lost 9 of 10 games while the Mets have won 4 of their last 6 games. Lets ride the mets on this one.
Mets (RL)-  3 Units

Texas Rangers @ Baltimore Orioles (+145)

This will be my upset special of the day as Buck will guide the O's to another victory. Tommy Hunter will be on the bump for the Rangers and he has been dreadfull lately posting close to a 6.00 ERA in his last  starts. Meanwhille Millwood has been great posting a 2.14 ERA over his last 3 starts. Baltimore has also owned Texas winning 6 of the last 7 games against them. Texas has also lost 7 of their last 10 games and are fighting for air. Lets take a small risk
Orioles (+145)- 2 Units

Colorado Rockies @ Arizona Diamondbacks (-120)

This game jumped off the board today for me, and its because of mainly the pitchers. Chacin is not great, and is 5-8 on the Year. He also has not been getting better while he has posted over a 5 era in his last 3 starts. Hudson has been dominant since going over to the NL posting a 3-1 record with a 2.12 ERA. Arizona has won 4 of their last 5 games vs the Rocies, and Colorado has lost 4 of 5 overall. Lets take the Kid and the Dbacks.
Diamondbacks (-120)- 3 Units

Sensational Saturday Winners 8/21

Hello World----

I haven't posted in a while, but Ive decided im going to try and most everyday again for a while. I got three nice winners today including an easy over.

New York Mets (-107) @ Pittsburgh Pirates

I was pretty surprised when i saw this line consider that the Mets are much better than the Pirates and Niese despite his record has been great lately. Niese has a 1.29 era in his last three starts despite not winning any of those games. The Pirates will be throwing out James McDonald who doesnt have much on his resume, and should get hit around a bit. The Pirates have also lost 9 of 10 games, an there is no reason for this line. Lets ride the Mets on this one.
Mets (-107)-  3 Units

White Sox @ KC Royals Over 9.5

Both of these pitchers are nothing to brag about, and we should see a lot of runs score early in this one. Freddy Garcia has a 7.71 ERA in his last 3 starts, and seems to be tiring as the year goes on. The Royals will be sending Humber to the bump today, and he has been in the bullpen all year long. So if the sox can get to Humber quick it could be a long night for that KC bullpen. The White Sox have also went over the total in their last 4 games, while the Royals have gone over in the last 2. Im expecting a lot of runs in this one, should get that over by the 6th inning.

Over 9.5- 2 Units

Reds @ Dodgers (-113)

The reds have been one of the hotter teams in baseball lately, but i see a small let down tonight. Cueto has not been consistent at all this year, and sports close to a 5.00 era in the last 3 starts. Meanwhile Billingsley has had a quiet but great year for the Dodgers. He also has a 2.84 ERA in the last 3 starts. Look for the Dodgers to cruise to an easy win in this one.

Dodgers (-113)- 3 Units

And as always....Good Luck and Good Night

T.O

So he finally signed today, and I think it was a great move for all parties involved. T.O. will be able to join a team where he finally wont have to be #1 by himself, and he gets to play with a veteran quarterback on a winning team. Expect not to hear one bad thing about him this year, he will be focused and hungry for a ring.

On the other side of the coin the Bengals are getting an affordable, veteran, and tough wide receiver. T.O. is also one of the better run blocking wr's which should help Benson find those outside lanes.

I am in no way a Bengals fan, but this for sure makes them a lot better. If Bryant can find a way to be healthy this year that is a pretty solid top  for Carson Palmer. If this team can stay healthy this year, watch out!!!

UFC 115 Winners

UFC 115

I have actually started watching a lot of MMA lately, and have done pretty well betting it so i thought i would share some picks. This should be a pretty good PPV tonight with tons of good action.

Mirko Cro Cop vs Pat Berry

The former cop from Croatia use to be one of the most feared strikers in the world. He had more head kick knock outs then ive ever sen then, but that was the past. Mirko has seemed to age very quickly and Berry has been excellent. I think Mirko might give him a couple scares but i in the end this fight will end with Cro Cop on the ground with a knockout.

Berry (-182) bet $100 to win $55

Chuck "the Iceman" Lidell vs Rich "ace" Franklin
Lets just be real about this, Chuck should of retired about three years ago. I wouldnt even call him washed up, i would of called him that 3 years ago. Im just confused to the reasoning behind Chuck still fighting. Rich Franklin is great, and should make quick work of the former hard hitting Ice Man. This fight would of been more competitive about 5 years ago. When i saw this line, I knew i would jump on it.

Franklin (-138) bet $150 to win $108

I might be back with some diamond action later today....we shall see!

World Cup Winners

Hello Everybody!

I know i havent posted in a while, but with the World Cup starting i thought to my self--- SELF lets share some winners with the rest of the world. Lets just jump into some picks. Also too make it easier all units will be $50.

South Korea vs. Greece 6:30 cst

This is a tricky game to pick becuase i believe the wrong team is heavily favore which might scare some people. The whole thing about Greece is....they suck. They have not won a game in 2010, and South Korea has been playing very well. They also made a run to the semi finals in the last World Cup, and have a very experienced team. Dont be cared by the great value on this one, the better team is South Korea.

South Korea (+180)- Bet $100 to win $180

Nigeria vs. Argentina

I do think that Argentina will win this game, but even with the spread bet the value was just not there for me. So im going to ride the over in this one. Argentina has the firepower and skill set to score 3 goals by themself an cover this over for me. Also some people think Nigeria is the second bet team in this group, so they wont lay down for the powerful Argentina squad, look for the most exciting game of the Cup so far.

Over 2.5- Bet $100 to win $90

USA vs. England

England is a much better team, but USA has fight and with this value i think you have to take it. USA has been very good in friendlies an also made that glorious run in the federation cup a couple years ago. They finished 2nd in the tourney by lowing a 2-0 lead vs he nations best in Brazil . This is a heart bet, but i think we really do have a shot today.

Bet USA $50 to win $300

Ill be back with some other sports later on today!!

Wednesday Night Winners!!

I have a ton of action tonight, so dont miss out on some free winners! Ive stayed hot in the NBA this year, and I have a lock for the ages tonight. I also have a couple of college games that are looking pretty solid.

Purdue @ Ohio State (-3)- Since the return of Evan Turner the Buckeyes have been a diffrent team. During the stretch he was out Ohio State looked lost, but since his return they have looked like the team to beat in the Big Ten. On the other hand Purdue might be the most balanced and deep team in the conference. This will be a battle tonight, and the diffrence will be Evan Turner. The Buckeyes have won 9 of their last 10 games overall, and they will indeed hold home court tonight. Look for a near triple double from Evan, and a big game from Diebler.
Buckeyes (-3) 10 Dimes

Penn State @ Northwestern (-7)- Penn State is better than their record, ill give you that much but they are still an awful team. If you take battle out of the equation for the Nitany Lions they might not even break twenty per game. Northwestern on the other hand has quietly had a terrific season, especially at home. They have a very balance and error free game plan that has been working all year long. At this point Penn State has nothing to play for and Northwestern is still fighting for that ticket they have been waiting for.
Northwestern (-7) 10 Dimes

Florida State University @ Virginia (-2)- This is a big game for both of these teams, and maybe even a must win for Virginia. The problem is the Seminoles are just as hungry as the Cavs, but they are a little more rested. Because of a reschedule this will mark the third game in five days for Virginia and they are a tired bunch. They showed some tired legs the other night when they got smashed by Maryland. Landesberg is always trouble to FSU, but fsu's giant front court will have too much size for Virginia to handle. Look for Alabi and Singleton to get involved early and often. This will be a sloppy, hard fought, low scoring game...which is why im on the site of the Florida State Seminoles.
Fsu (+2) 10 Dimes

Memphis Grizzlies @ Toronto Raptors (-6.5)- First off the raptors are a completely diffrent team in Canada, and the stats show that. On the road they are below avergage, yet they still have a great record because of their phenominal home record which they are currently on a 7 game win streak in Toronto. The raptors are also 6-2 in their last 8 games ATS, and are playing their best basketball in years. Chris Bosh has been unstoppable in the paint, and Gasol wont be able to handle his speed. On the other hand the Grizzlies have lost 5 straight games, and have lost 7 of their last 8 games ATS!! They have also not covered 4 of their last 5 on the road. Look for the Rap's to be up by 20 at halftime and win this one huge! This is my play of the week.
Raptors (-6.5) 20 Dimes

And as always...good luck and good night!

Thursday Night Thunder!

I know I haven't posted in sometime, but felt the urge. I've been pretty hot lately, so I thought i would share some picks again. Tonight's plays will feature a couple college hoops picks along with an easy TNT Thursday Night Winner.

The University of North Carolina @ Virginia Tech (-3.5)- Lets just throw the numbers out the window real quick and think of this line. I know that UNC has been terrible lately, and that Virginia Tech has been pretty decent...but i gotta feeling about tonight. I just cant see the Tar Heels not putting up a fight in the ACC this year, and laying down like a Vick owned dog. The Tar Heels do have talent, they are just very young, but they do have a veteran coach who wont give up. I think UNC might get left out of the tourney this year, but they will make it close. The Tar heels have won 5 straight against the Hokies, and i think they make it 6 tonight. Take the Tar Heels (+3.5) for 10 Dimes.

Maryland @ Florida State University (-3) - This will be a revenge game, and Vazquez should be wary of his dance moves in this one. Vazquez showed up the noles last game both in the game and in their heads. I cant say Vazquez doing any dances tonight as the noles play stiffling defense, especially at home. The Seminoles are a different team at home, and love to protect their court. Singleton and Alabi have been excellent lately, and Maryland doesnt have the front court to stop them. Look for the Seminoles to win a close one, and win this one by 7 or 8, which is a blow out in ACC terms. Take the Seminoles (-3.5) for 10 Dimes.

Miami Heat @ Cleveland Cavaliers (-9.5)- The heat are one of the most inconsistent teams I have ever seen, and i dont trust them going back to back traveling to the beat team in the east. This game will also be on national television where King James loves to show off his skills. The Heat had a tough loss last night vs Boston, and Jermaine O'Neal wont be as good on the second end of a back to back. Look for the Cavs to go up early and big. Cavs win this one by 20 plus, and Lebron might not even play the 4th quarter. Take the Cavs (-9.5) for 15 Dimes
