Wednesday Night Early Bird Special

Whats better than a early star to a college football week? After a huge week of winners on the gridiron im ready to pick up where i left off with an easy middle of the week winner!

Hawaii @ La Tech (-5.5)-

I know Hawaii doesnt have the same offense they used too, and i know Greg Alexander might not have the college career Brennan had, but i still think this team has some firepower. La Tech does seem to be improving a little bit every year, but i still dont think they can cover a spread vs this pass heavy Hawaii team. This is an imporant conference game for both teams, and i think the experienced Hawaii team will be able to not only keep this close, but maybe take this game. Greg Alexander has matured quickly and has alrleady thrown for over 1200 yards on the season. Hawaii is 6-1 in their last seven ATS vs teams in their conference, and also 5-1 ATS away from home. Dont let the long trips fool you, Hawaii loves the road and loves the lights~ L. Tech on the other hand has only covered 1 of their last 5 ames as a slight 3-10 pt favorite. Look for a close, high scoring, fun game with Hawaii in this thing the whole time. Pick Hawaii (+5.5)

Monday Night Teaser...

Well to put this simply im on fucking fire right now. I have won 12 of my last 15 football games including a 6-1 NFL day yesterday including the easy Sunday Night Winner. Ive been dominating the NFL all season long so far, and i dont plan to stop. This should be an easy winner as the Cowboys look for redemption.

Carolina Panthers @ Dallas Cowboys (-8)- This spread has went a little crazy lately, and im not really sure why. The Cowboys are coming off a tough loss to maybe the best team in the NFL at home, and are ready for vengence. They will not start 0-2 in their new stadium, and after a tease i will get this spread down to 6. The over also looks mighty appetizing considering i can tease it down to 42. Both of these defenses have been very lackluster to start the year, and the Cowboys offense even though they lost has looked great. Dont be confused about this team they hung 31 on the New York Giants even with all those turnovers. Look for a high scoring game, with the Cowboys winning by around 7-10 points. Pick Teaser (Cowboys -2, Over 42)

Sundays are for Football!!

NFL SUNDAY!!!

Ive had a great start to the NFL season, and i look to continue that trend tomorrow! I have a nice handfull of games, and i hope you will follow!

49ers @ Vikings (-7)-

This should be a hard hitting, smash mouth football game with lots of running. The revamped 49ers defense has looked great so far this season and is only giving up 13 points per game including a great defensive game at Arizona. Frank Gore had a great game last week, and even though he is going against a tough defense look for him to find his holes. If Shaun Hill continues to minimize his mistakes, and the defense stands tall this could be a very low scoring and close game. I love the match up of Adrian Peterson vs Patrick Willis, as it should be a hard hitting battle. Pick- 49ers (+7)

Washington Redskins @ Detroit Lions (+6.5)- Once again as you have notice, i love home dogs even if they are the Lions. Even though the Lions have lost their first two games against tough teams they look improved. Their problem so far has been turnovers, so you should see a heavy dose of Kevin Smith today vs a lackluster Redskins defense. The  Redskins barely pulled out a win at home vs in my mind the NFL's worst team. I think this could actually be the Lions first win in a long long time as long as they minimize turnovers and put pressure on Jason Campbell. You might call me crazy here, but i have a feelilng this could be the day for the Lions. Pick Lions (+6.5)

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans (-3.5)- After a tough week one loss to the Jets, the Texans came back strong behind the arm of Matt Shaub. Shaub looked great last week, and finally starting using his go to man again in Andre Johnson. Slaton has had a slow start to the year, but this should be a good spot for him to get going. The Texans beat a very good Titans team last week, and that was on the road. The Jaguars are not as good as i expected this year, and Garrard has not looked comfortable. I still think Jones-Drew is one of the premier backs in the NFL, but he has no help. The Jaguars gave up a ton of points last week to the Cardinals, and look for the Titans to do the same. Pick- Texans -3.5

Chicago Bears @ Seattle Seahawks (+1)- If you watched the 2nd half of the Seahawks game last week, you know why im picking the Bears in this one. Seneca Wallace is not Matt Hasselback, and he doesnt have the tools at receiver to move the ball on this tough defense. Julius Jones and Justin Forsett will have tough time moving the ball as well, and Matt Forte should be ready for his breakout game on the season. Cutler finally looked more comfortable last week, and let the Bears to an impressive come back win at the end of the game. I think this Bears team could win that division, and this is a big game for them. Pick Bears (-1)

Indy Colts @ Arizona Cardinals (-2.5)- I love Peyton Manning in most games, but i really love him as a dog in a night game vs a defense that can be beat. Look for Peyton and company to have a huge game through the air in this high scoring affair. The Cardinals have looked bi-polar the first couple of weeks, and tried to let the Jaguars back in the game second half last week. They still havent seemed to click yet on either side of the ball. This will be a tough matchup for the Cardinals secondary, and Dallas Clark always causes match up problems. Pick Colts (+2.5)

Quick Picks...

KC/Phi over 38.5

Saturday's are for making money!

Gotta love Saturdays!! This is the first week that im really starting to feel comfortable with college football and the trends are starting to come together. Look for a big week this week, and maybe even a couple nice upsets!!

Unc @ Georgia Tech (-2.5)- This game jumped out at me right away for a couple of reasons. First off Unc has found a way to win in its last couple of hard fought games. Even when they havent played their best, they have found a way to win. So i love a team like that getting points. Secondly Georgia Tech seems to be getting worse defensively every week, and a lot of teams are figuring out how to stop that crazy option. Unc has won its last 4 games ATS on the road, and they are 10-2 as a dog when the spread is 3 or lower. I just think this Georgia Tech team is a little over hyped, and that if they dont learn to throw the ball they will be in trouble this whole season. Pick UNC +2.5

LSU @ Mississippi State (+12.5)-
I really like dogs, especially in conference home dogs that are over ten! I do think LSU is a pretty good team, and i do believe they will have a decent year in this tough conference. I also believe that this is a lot of points, and LSU is normally not the greatest team at covering big spreads, espcially on the road. Miss. St. had a nice road win vs a decent Vanderbuilt team and they will look to continue to improve. In the game last year Mississippi State played very well and only lost by 10 in Baton Rouge, so i think a home game should be even closer. LSU has only covered 2 of its last ten games, and is 1-6 in their last seven as a favorite. Mississippi State on the other hand has covered five straight as home dogs. Take the points in this one. Pick Mississippi State (+12.5)

Rutgers @ Maryland (-1)-
Boy do i love reverse line movement, especially when it doesnt make any sense. I havent watched much of Maryland this year, but when i have watched it has been awful. I know Rutgers started off the year terrible at home vs Cincinatti, but their new QB is starting to find himself. I dont think rutgers is that great of a team, but i know Maryland is not. Maryland lost to Middle Tennesse St last week, and that right there shows you what kind of team they are. Rutgers has covered its last 4 games on the road, and Maryland is 1-5 in their last 6 ATS. Pick Rutgers (+1)

TCU @ Clemson (-2.5)-
This should be a fun game from start to finish. We have a powerfull offense in TCU vs a great defense in Clemson. Clemson loves playing at home, and they love big games! This is a classic small conference vs big conference game, and i normally side with the big boys on these games. Spiller will be healthy for this one as well, and i expect him to have a big game. Clemson seems to be getting better every quarter, and their defense will stand tall. Clemson has covered their last 4 games at home, and are 6-1 ATS overall in their last 7. They are also 5-1 ATS in thier last six as a favorite. TCU is also 0-4 ATS in thier last 4 against teams with a winning record on the road. Pick Clemson (-2.5)

Miami @ Virginia Tech (+3)-
First off all i know VT looked awfull on offense last week, but this Miami defense can give up some points. Jacorey Harris has been great so far, there is no doubting that but they have not faced a pass defense like this yet. VT year in and year out throws a tremendous defense out there, and this year is no diffrent. Also once again i love home dogs, especially when i think VT is better anyway. I think Miami might be a little over hyped by the media after a couple nice wins, but VT is for real. Last time in Blacksburg the Canes lost 44-14. The Hokies have covered 6 straight games ATS as a home dog, and are 5-1 ATS vs teams with a winning record. Pick VT (+3)

Texas Tech @ Houston (+1)-
This should be the highest scoring game of the weekend, and it should be a very entertaining game to watch. Both of these teams have great offenses, and their defenses arent much to be bragged about. I think this reborn Houston team still has something to prove, and making them a home dog vs an unranked team is some extra motivation. Taylor Potts has looked good so far for the Red Raiders, but he has thrown picks in three games to go along with all those stats. Casey Keenum is showing the whole country what he can do, and will love the evening spotlight again. Houston is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 at home, and also 4-1 ATS vs teams with a winning record. Pick Houston (+1)

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD NIGHT!!!

Friday Night Appetizer

Mizzouri @ Nevada (+7)- This will be a small play on this appetizer to a great weekend coming up. Mizzouri's offense has picked up right where they left of with Chase Daniel, and might be just as strong as last year when its all said and done. Blaine Glabbert has done a great job not making mistakes, and has actually not thrown any picks this year. On the other hand Nevada's starting quarterback has not been as stable with only 1 touchdown pass too four interceptions. Some people might say this could be a revenge game since Missouri blew Nevada out of the water with a 69-17 win behind Chase Daniel, but i dont think thats the case. This Missouri team has way too much offensive power, and the defense should be able to contain a weak Nevada offensive attack. Missouri also has a nice road win under its belt with a 37-9 win over Illinois on a neutral field. While Nevada has struggled with Notre Dame and Colorado State. Missouri is 11-0 ATS when they are a favorite between 3-10. They are also 6-1 ATS as a road favorite while Nevada is only 1-6 ATS in their last 7 as a underdog.
Pick- Mizzou (-7)

Monday Night Football

Tough loss last night as i lost the side and hit on the over. Romo needs to learn how to not force so many throws!

Colts @ Dolphins (+3)- I still believe Peyton Manning is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, and i dont believe the Dolphins are as good as they seemed to be last year. The Dolphins got runover last week in Atlanta, and i think the "Wildcat" wont work on these well coached Colts team. The loss of Tony Dungy is huge, but i think they will be ok as their on field coach is the best in the NFL. Peyton Manning is hungry for another ring, and the Colts should be tough this year. Joseph Addai looks like hes trying to regain his form from 2 years ago, and i think he will once again be a top running back for this team. Look for the Colts to blitz Pennington a lot, and force him into some bad throws. I like the Colts BIG in this one! Colts -3

Sunday Night Madness!!

New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys (-2.5)

Quick pick before the game, as im going with the slight home favorite. I think this could finally be Tony Romo and the Cowboys year, and winning this game would be a huge start for this talented offense. Romo looked very comfortable last week with out T.O, and Roy Williams looks like hes ready to step up and be that number one receiver. The Giants have some defensive injuries that could hurt them as they lack depth at some key positiions. The Giants also didnt look that great last week vs the Redskins, while the Cowboys rolled on Tampa. Look for Tony Romo, Roy Williams, and Marion Barber to carry the Cowboys in this high scoring afair in their brand new freakish stadium. You might also think about adding the over. Pick- The Boys (-2.5)

Looking to finish up the day 4-2 if the Boys can pull it off.

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD NIGHT!

Sunday,Sunday,Sunday!

I had a pretty good start in the NFL last weekend, turning a nice little profit! I have a good set of games im going to be playing, so grab a pen!

Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons (-6)-

The Falcons looked like they deserved all the offseason hype they received as they handled the Dolphins quite easily in Week 1. On the other hand the Panthers could not of looked worse on both sides of the ball. They gave up a lot of yards on the ground to a couple backs who couldn't hold Turner's jock. Also look for Mike Peterson and company to force Delhomme into some more bad throws. Adding Tony Gonzalez to this allready potent offense will prove to be very beneficial to the falcons. Look for Atlanta to follow up its big win last year at home. Pick Falcons (-6)

New Orleans Saints @ Philladelphia Eagles (+1.5)-

Im still a little confused by this spread even though McNabb will be out for this earlier NFC battle. Even without Donovan i still think the Eagles can move the ball on the ground enough to win this game. The key will be with the defense though, and i can promise you that Brees wont put up his week 1 numbers for this defense. The Lions were able to actually move the ball pretty well last week vs the Saints putting up 27 points, and even with Kolb at the helm they have a better offense than the Lions. I will put my faith in this Eagles defense, and take the slight home dog in this one. Eagles (+1.5)

New England Patriots @ New York Jets (+3.5)

Am i missing something here? So the Jets win a game vs the Texans so they are better than Tom Brady and the Patriots. Call me crazy but Brady looks like his old self in that second half of the Bills when he led his team to the W. Dont let that first game block your view of what your seeing here. This is a great team, that has a chance to win it all this year. I do think the Jets could be improved, but the Patriots will set up some nice plays to shake the rookie up. Playing the Texans is a little bit diffrent then playing Bellicheck's Patriots. Look for the Pats to win this game by more than a TD. Pick- Pats (-3.5)

Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers (-1)

Yes i know im a 49ers fan, but did anyone watch that game last week? The revamped 49ers defense under guru Mike Singletary shut down one of the best offenses in the NFL last season, and defending NFC champion. I know the offense didnt look great, but the Seahawks wont be able to contain Gore like the Cardinals did. I think the 49ers should be able to contain Julius Jones, and force Hasselback to throw the ball to his "shitty" receivers. Look for Shaun Hill to continue what he does, which is manage the game and limit mistakes. This will be a fun battle in San Fran! Oh yeah... did i mention the game was in Arizona last week :) Pick- 49ers (-1)

Baltimore Ravens @ San Diego Chargers (-3)

Well to put this simply the Ravens Defense looked like the Ravens defense last week, and the Chargers offense look like shit. Flacco had the best game of his young career, and Rivers looks terrible. LT is out for this game, and Ray Rice looks better every game i watch. I do think the Chargers will compete this year, and win that division but the Ravens defense is scary good. I think if there is a team that can match that speed of Sproles, its the Ravens. As long as Flacco doesnt make many mistakes this should be a Ravens win. Pick- Ravens (+3)

There ya go...might add another in the morning :)

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD NIGHT!!

It's a Festivus Miracle!

Hoping for a Big Saturday this week, and there are some nice dogs to go with a couple favorites to start the day. Since i have a lot of plays im going to try and keep the write ups short with lots of facts. Follow me to freedom...

ECU @ UNC (-7.5)- After a hard fought win last week the Tar Heels are going to want to air it out quick, and get a big lead of the weaker opponent. ECU is still getting some pitty lines over last years excellent start against some bigger conference foes. Last week even though UNC struggled against a better than expected Uconn team, they did win that game. ECU started off strong but ended up lossing 35-20 on the road vs a rebuilding WVU team. ECU is 1-8 in their last 9 road games ATS, and 3-10 Overall. Pick UNC (-7.5)

Louisville @ Kentucky (-14)- This isnt as much as a play for Kentucky as it is a play against the struggling Cardinals. Though Kentucky did look good in their fist game dominating Miami of Ohio by over 50 points. Louisville is 1-4 ATS their last 5 on the road, and 0-5 ATS overall. Kentucky on the other hand has been on fire going 8-1-1 on ATS in their last 10. Look for these trends to continue. Pick Kentucky (-14)

Toledo @ Ohio State (-20)-
Not much of a write up here, but Toledo lostby three touchdowns at Purdue just two weeks and i would say the Buckeyes are much better:). I know Toledo played a solid game last week, but so did Ohio State. I dont think there will be any hangover involved, just an ass whooping. Ohio State is 5-1 ATS their last 6, with Toledo going 1-4 ATS vs Big Ten Foes. Pick (Ohio State -20)

Tulsa (+17.5) @ Oklahoma-
I dont have as many facts to back this up, but i do like this game a lot. Tulsa has a very high powered offense, and i do believe they can move the ball on Oklahoma'a defense. Oklahoma is still also without Sam Bradford, and their young qb is still learning how to play at this level and Tulsa is much better than Idaho St. Look for a high scoring shootout type game. Pick (Tulsa +17.5)

Michigan State @ Notre Dame (-10)-
Even at 1-1 Notre Dame has really impressed me so far this year with its offesne. Trust me, i love to hate Charlie Weiss and the Irish but thats a pretty good offense they are throwing out. Michigan was unable to stop Claussen and company the whole game and i think Micighan State will have the same problem. Weiss and the Irish will be playing for his job today, and the respect of the county. As much as i hate to say this... Pick (Notre Dame -10)

Utah (+5) @ Oregon-
Im pretty confused about this line because Utah has proved time and time again they can beat big conferences...thats right SEC. Utah has also won about a billion games in a row, and they are 25-6 in their last 31 has road dogs. Oregon on the other hand has been terrible since day 1, and they have lost their best player for the year. They barely beat a terrible Purdue at home last week, and Utah will be amped for this contest. Look for Utah to be in it till the end, and maybe pull this thing out. Pick (Utah +5)

Cincinatti @ Oregon St (+1)-
I think this could be the game of the week with these high powered offenses going at it. I understand that Cinci won 70 -3 last week, and they beat Rutgers who everyone thought was going to be great, but im not convinced. This team lost a lot of starters, and Oregon State can move the ball with the best of them. Look for my boy Jacquizz Rodgers to run wild in this thriller. Pick (Oregon State +1)

FSU (+8) @ BYU -
First off this is not just me being bias, i do have reasons for my insanity. First off i hate going with the public, HATE IT. This line has moved towards BYU, and thats a good thing for FSU backers. Secondly BYU is 3-7 in there last 10 Against the Spread, while FSU is 6-1 ATS following a loss. Bobby Bowden put a huge ass whopping on these guys all week after that Jax St. mess, and they have a lot to prove this week. Jimbo Fisher and Micken "the greatest" Andrews will have their sides pumped up and ready to go. Pick (FSU +8)

Texas Tech (+17.5) @ Texas-
Ther is one major reason why im liking Texas Tech this week, too many fucking points. This Texas Tech offense has been amazing too start the year once again, if Graham Harrell is a "system" quarterback then it shouldnt matter who the quarterback is as long as he can throw the ball. Taylor Potts has stepped in very nicely for the Red Raiders, and i think he will have a solid game. Texas has also not covered in 3 straight games, and i like 17+ points in the in state rivalry. Pick (Texas Tech (+17.5)

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD NIGHT!!!
---If you havent become a follower yet, please do.

Quick Pick Friday

Boise St (-7) vs. Fresno St-
Im really liking Boise St in this game, hopefully my bad run of posted plays stops, as when i didn't post last weekend i dominated. Weird huh?

Anyway Boise St beat this same Fresno team 61-10 last year, and if anything Fresno is worse and Boise St. is better. I know Fresno had a nice "attempt" last week, but they are prob physically and mentally worn out from that double OT thriller. Boise St has had a great start to the season by beating a solid Oregon team, and dismantling Miami of Ohio.

Look for Boise St to have a nice balanced attack tonight, and slowly dismantle the fake FSU.

Pick- Boise St (-7)

Ill be back later for this weekends picks...

Thursday Football...The Ramblin Wreck of Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech @ Miami Hurricanes- GT (+5.5)
Im pretty confused about this line, actually im very confused about this line. Not only did this line open weird (Mia -4), but it continued to gain steam. Ive seen this line up to 6 at some books, and im just very suprised. Dont get me wrong i think the Hurricanes looked very good on offense against the Seminoles in week 1, but thats a very young Seminoles Defense. Even though Clemson look great in the 2nd half last week, i still believe the Jackets should be able to stop this young Hurricane team. These teams played last year in Atlanta with GT winning 41-23, and also GT has won 4 straight games against Miami. I do think Miami has improved, and i do think they have a chance tomorrow night, but 6 fucking points!! Look for the Jackets and Dwyer to run all night long, and put a hurting on those Miami linebackers. --- Lets do it!

Ill be back throughout the week to make more picks

Im Back...

I took a little couple week break of write ups, but ill post some things this weekend. I did have a decent weekend as i was up in both NFL and College.

Stay tuned for some picks...
