Saturday's are for making money!

Gotta love Saturdays!! This is the first week that im really starting to feel comfortable with college football and the trends are starting to come together. Look for a big week this week, and maybe even a couple nice upsets!!

Unc @ Georgia Tech (-2.5)- This game jumped out at me right away for a couple of reasons. First off Unc has found a way to win in its last couple of hard fought games. Even when they havent played their best, they have found a way to win. So i love a team like that getting points. Secondly Georgia Tech seems to be getting worse defensively every week, and a lot of teams are figuring out how to stop that crazy option. Unc has won its last 4 games ATS on the road, and they are 10-2 as a dog when the spread is 3 or lower. I just think this Georgia Tech team is a little over hyped, and that if they dont learn to throw the ball they will be in trouble this whole season. Pick UNC +2.5

LSU @ Mississippi State (+12.5)-
I really like dogs, especially in conference home dogs that are over ten! I do think LSU is a pretty good team, and i do believe they will have a decent year in this tough conference. I also believe that this is a lot of points, and LSU is normally not the greatest team at covering big spreads, espcially on the road. Miss. St. had a nice road win vs a decent Vanderbuilt team and they will look to continue to improve. In the game last year Mississippi State played very well and only lost by 10 in Baton Rouge, so i think a home game should be even closer. LSU has only covered 2 of its last ten games, and is 1-6 in their last seven as a favorite. Mississippi State on the other hand has covered five straight as home dogs. Take the points in this one. Pick Mississippi State (+12.5)

Rutgers @ Maryland (-1)-
Boy do i love reverse line movement, especially when it doesnt make any sense. I havent watched much of Maryland this year, but when i have watched it has been awful. I know Rutgers started off the year terrible at home vs Cincinatti, but their new QB is starting to find himself. I dont think rutgers is that great of a team, but i know Maryland is not. Maryland lost to Middle Tennesse St last week, and that right there shows you what kind of team they are. Rutgers has covered its last 4 games on the road, and Maryland is 1-5 in their last 6 ATS. Pick Rutgers (+1)

TCU @ Clemson (-2.5)-
This should be a fun game from start to finish. We have a powerfull offense in TCU vs a great defense in Clemson. Clemson loves playing at home, and they love big games! This is a classic small conference vs big conference game, and i normally side with the big boys on these games. Spiller will be healthy for this one as well, and i expect him to have a big game. Clemson seems to be getting better every quarter, and their defense will stand tall. Clemson has covered their last 4 games at home, and are 6-1 ATS overall in their last 7. They are also 5-1 ATS in thier last six as a favorite. TCU is also 0-4 ATS in thier last 4 against teams with a winning record on the road. Pick Clemson (-2.5)

Miami @ Virginia Tech (+3)-
First off all i know VT looked awfull on offense last week, but this Miami defense can give up some points. Jacorey Harris has been great so far, there is no doubting that but they have not faced a pass defense like this yet. VT year in and year out throws a tremendous defense out there, and this year is no diffrent. Also once again i love home dogs, especially when i think VT is better anyway. I think Miami might be a little over hyped by the media after a couple nice wins, but VT is for real. Last time in Blacksburg the Canes lost 44-14. The Hokies have covered 6 straight games ATS as a home dog, and are 5-1 ATS vs teams with a winning record. Pick VT (+3)

Texas Tech @ Houston (+1)-
This should be the highest scoring game of the weekend, and it should be a very entertaining game to watch. Both of these teams have great offenses, and their defenses arent much to be bragged about. I think this reborn Houston team still has something to prove, and making them a home dog vs an unranked team is some extra motivation. Taylor Potts has looked good so far for the Red Raiders, but he has thrown picks in three games to go along with all those stats. Casey Keenum is showing the whole country what he can do, and will love the evening spotlight again. Houston is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 at home, and also 4-1 ATS vs teams with a winning record. Pick Houston (+1)

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD NIGHT!!!
