Busy today but here are the picks:

Rockies (-132)
Braves (-107)

Tuesday Night Winners- 4/26

Yesterdays Recap- Went 1-1-1 last night, so it wasnt the worst night ever. Need to pick it up on the diamond though, and tonight is the night to do it!

New York Mets @ Washington Nationals
The Mets have actually started to play a little bit better lately, and Chris Young is revitalizing his career. Young has posted a 1.46 ERA this year, and shutdown the Nationals going 7 innings while only allowing 1 earned run. The Mets have won 4 in a row, while the Nationals have lost 4 of 5. The Mets have also started to play better on the road, and should improve that record tonight. Lets take a shot with Chris Young. Mets (+110)- 3 Units

St. Louis Cardinals @ Houston Astros
The Cardinals have finally started to play now since the return of Holliday, and the fact that Pujols has actually started to hit well. They will bring Jaime Garcia to the mound who has been great this year posting a  1.44 ERA on the season. The Cardinals have also gone 3-1 in his starts. On the other side the Astros will be starting Bud Norris who has been shaky this year posting over a 5.00 ERA. St. Louis has won 4 of their last 4 games, and 7 of their last 10. The Astros have been going backward dropping 4 of their last 5 games. St. Louis has also been good on the road posting a 6-4 record. Lets take the better team with the better pitcher.
Cardinals (-132)- 3 Units

Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic
I still dont understand what the oddsmakers are doing in this series. The Hawks have looked like the better team all series, and have owned the Magic all year. The Hawks have won 6 of 7 vs the Magic straight up, and have covered their last 8 games vs Orlando. Jamal Crawford has taken his game to a whole new level this series, and no one has an answer for him. Outside of Dwight the Magic have been terrible on both sides of the ball, with no one stepping up. They have looked like a high school team just throwing up threes all game. Im not sure if the Hawks will win this game outright, but it will be a very close game. Take the points.
Hawks (+7.5)- 3 Units

Indiana Pacers @ Chicago Bulls
Not a long write up on this one, I just think the spread is much too large. Indy has covered 4 of their last 5 bs the Bulls and play them tough every game. Tie that into the fact that Derek Rose is banged up, and that might affect his speed when hes driving the lane. Lets take this nice dog.
Pacers (+9.5)

Lets do the damn thing....dont forget about UFC 129. I will have those plays posted on Saturday. Please dont miss those picks as I'm Mr.UFC.

Good Luck Tonight!

Monday Night Winners- 4/25

Yesterdays Recap-  Finally cooled off on the NBA last night, going 1-2 after a late collapse by the Heat. Dont you worry though as tonight will be a clean sweep!

Cinci Reds @ Milwaukee Brewers
Even after a slow start I still believe the Brewers can be one of the better teams in the National League especially the way Narveson has pitched this year. Narveson has an ERA of 2.19 this season, and has kept the Brewers in every game he has pitches. Arroyo hasnt been terrible, but he has been prone to the big inning which is reflected in his ERA. The Reds actually swept the Brewers in the first series of the year so look for the Brewers to get some revenge tonight. The Brewers have won 4 of their last 6 while the Reds have dropped 6 of their last 8 games. Milwaukee is also a great home team and has posted a 7-3 record at home this year.
Brewers (-122)- 3 Units

San Antonio Spurs @ Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies have shown a lot of heart in this series especially considering their best player (Rudy Gay) is out for the season. The Grizzlies have some how owned the spurs this season winning 4 of 5 against them this year. San Antonio is also playing its worst ball of the season losing 4 of its last 5. It just seems like the Spurs are getting very old, very fast. The Spurs have also had no answer for Z-Bo in this series, and I think he will continue to dominate inside today. The injury to McDyess will also be a lot bigger than people think.
Memphis (+1.5)- 3 Units

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Denver Nuggets
Normally I would not pick a team to sweep, but i just have a feeling the Thunder will continue to roll through the Nuggets. They have now won 5 straight games vs Denver, and have looked dominate against them all season. Oklahoma city has also now won 8 of their last 10 games, while Denver has been slumping losing their last 4 games. Ibaka has been dominant inside grabbing every rebound in site, and Durant looks ready to win the conference (Which i think they will). Denver has no go-to guy and it has showed in this series. Look for the Thunder to finish this series up, and get some rest.
Thunder (+3)- 3 Units

Good Luck!

Saturday Night Winners- 4/23

Yesterday's- Well I kept on rolling in the NBA last night posting another 2-0!! Thats 8-0 posted on this site in the playoffs. Had another rough day on the diamond so was about even last night.

Tampa Bay Rays @ Toronto Blue Jays
The rays have been one of the hotter teams in the league lately, and will stay hot tonight when they make up for last nights loss. The Rays will throw David Price who was 3-0 vs Toronto last season, and won all three with dominant performances. Price also has a 2.08 ERA in his last 3 starts. The Rays have won 7 out of their last 10 while the Jays have dropped 6 of ten. This will also be Morrows first game of the season coming off an injury.
Rays (-114)

LA Dodgers @ Chicago Cubs
This is a nice spot for the Dodgers. They are coming off a nice series vs the Braves, and will face a struggling Ryan Dempster in this one. Lilly will throw for the Dodgers and he has a 3.12 ERA in the lats 3, while Dempster has struggled with a 6.38 ERA in his last 3 games. The Dodgers dominated yesterday winning 12-2, and have won 4 of 5 vs the Cubs. LA has won 5 of their last 6, and some how the Cubs hae lost their last 6 games when Dempster starts at thome.
Dodgers (+114)

Oklahoma City @ Denver
I think Oklahoma City is the only team that could give the Lakers a run in the West. They have now won 4 straight vs Denver, and the last time they were in Denver they won by 7. So why am i getting 5 points? Oklahoma City has been on fire winning 7 of their last 8 games, while Denver has lost 4 of their last 6. Look for them to continue dominating the boards and push this series to 3-0. The Thunder have covered 8 of their last 10 road games. Lets ride that train.
Oklahoma City (+5)

San Antonio Spurs @ Memphis Grizzlies
Memphis has covered 7 straight games vs the Spurs, and won 3 of the last 4 against them straight up. SA has lost 3 of 4, and memphis has won 4 of their last 5 at home. The Spurs are also 1-8 ATS as a dog in the playoffs. Look for Memphis to continue to dominate the spurs, and make a run at being the 2nd number 8 seed to advance to the 2nd round.
Grizzlies (-2)

Friday Night Winners 4/22

Had a nice day yesterday hitting 2 more NBA winners! That moves my NBA Playoff total too 11-2! Didnt have a strong day on the diamond, but hoping to rebound tonight.

I dont have time for writeups today, but here are the plays which will all be 3 units.

Tampa Bay Rays
LAA Angels

Atlanta Hawks
LA Lakers

GOOD LUCK TONIGHT!

Thursday Winners- 4/21

Yesterdays Recap-  Not a bad day yesterday going 2-2, but went 2-1 on my 3 unit plays so i was able to pick up a couple units. Also have hit 4 straight NBA playoff games, so dont miss tonights 2 winners. Check my sports monitor for my full stats and records!

Atlanta Braves @ LA Dodgers
The Dodgers are a hit or miss team but this looks like a great spot to finish off the series win vs the Braves especially with Kershaw on the mound. Kershaw has posted a 2.96 ERA in his last three starts, and looks to continue his success in the finale of this 4 game set. The dodgers have won 2 of the first three vs the braves and are looking to continue heading in the right direction. Jurjens pitched a beautuful game in his first start of the year, but he is normally very inconsistent and i cant see him dominating the Dodgers today like he did the Mets. The Braves have lost 3 of their last 4 while the Dodgers have won 3 of their last 4. Lets take the home team in this one for the normal 3 unit wager.
Dodgers (-134)

Oakland A's  @ Seattle Mariners
The former White Sox top prospect seems to have found himself this year after a couple of injury plagued years. Brandon McCarthy has posted a 2.45 ERA this year, and he has looked dominating despite his unlucky record. Felix Hernandez has not looked himself since his game 1 masterpiece, and it might have to do with the frustration of the Mariners offense. The A's have also owned the Mariners as of late taking 5 of the last 7 games head to head. The A's are also headed in the right direction winning 3 of their last 4 while the Mariners hae lost 6 of their last 8. Lets take the dog in this one. This will be a 2-Unit Wager.
Oakland A's (+135)- 2 Units

Quick Pick- Orioles (-134)- 3 Units.
Im going to ride Guthrie in this one, and hope for a nice easy home win for the O's.

Miami Heat @ Philadelphia 76ers (+4.5)
I knew i would be betting on this game no matter what the spread was about half way through the 1st quarter of game 1. You can just tell the Heat are ready to take the next step, and make a run at the championship. They are also 5-0 this year vs the 76ers with the average victory standing at 12 points. This spread should be right around 9 or 10 points so i was excited too see this one! Miami has won 9 of its last 10 games while the 76ers limped in losing 7 of their last 10 including 4 in a row. Look for Lebron to continue to dominate tonight and get a very easy road win to move to 3-0.
Heat (-4.5) - 4 Unit NBA Road Game of the Week

Dallas Mavericks @ Portland Trailblazers (-5.5)
Im very suprised with this spread to tell you the truth. Throughout the first two games Dallas has looked like the better and more complete team and yet today they are getting 5.5 points? They are 5-2 vs Portland this year, and 6-1 ATS. The Mavericks have also won their last 6 games, while Portland has dropped its last 3. I just dont think they are the same team without Brandon Roy (Playing 7 minutes does not count). Im not sure what MacMillan is doing here because if your best player tells you he can play, then fucking play him. Anyway lets take the points in this one even though i think Dallas takes the game in a nail bitter.
Mavericks (+5.5)

Good Luck!

Wednesday Winners- 4/20

Yesterday's Recap- Had a solid day yesterday going 3-1 while sweeping the NBA. The Twins simply did not show up yesterday, but did get a nice win from A's to go with the NBA Card. If you want to see my offical records please check the right hand column and click on my sports monitor page.

Boston Red Sox @ Oakland A's
This game was an easy win yesterday so i thought i would go right back here. For some reason the Red Sox are still getting to much credit. The A's are at home, playing better, and have a better pitcher on the mound. Gio is 2-0 with a 0.47 ERA this year while Bucholtz has struggled going 0-2 with a 6.60 ERA. The Red Sox still have not won on the road this year, and Oakland has dominated the Red Sox dropping 5 of the last 6.
A's (-110)
Milwaukee Brewers @ Philadelphia Phillies
Im only going to go with 1 unit on this game as opposed to my standard 3. I think this game is more of a 50/50 but with the line so big im going to take a chance on this one. Cliff Lee hasnt found his grove yet this year, and im hoping for some more of that today. Narveson has been teriffic and has posted a 1.45 ERA this season so far. The Brewers are also going for the sweep in Philladelphia after taking the first 2 games. The Phillies have lost 3 of their last 4, and im hoping that number goes to 4 of 5. Ill take this huge line and try to nail down a big underdog winner.
Brewers (+185)- 1 Unit

Denver Nuggets @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Im going to stick with the Thunder in this series for a couple reasons. First the nuggets are very banged up right now including both of their point guards. Westbrook is way to quick to be guarded by someone with an injury. The Thunder have also won their last 3 games vs the Nuggets by an average of 9 points. The Thunder have also won 6 of their last 7 games, while the Nuggets have strugles losing 3 of their last 5. Lets go with the better team on their home court
Thunder (-4.5)

Memphis Grizzlies @ San Antonio Spurs
This to me is the easiest game of the day so ill make it brief. The Spurs have been struggling lately, and Ginobli will still probably be out of this game. The Grizzlies have won 3 straight vs the Spurts with 2 of those wins being by double digits. Memphis has been hot the last couple weeks winning 7 of their last 10, while the Spurs have dropped 3 straight and 6 of 10. Lets take the points in this one.
Grizzlies (+8.5)

Good Luck!!

Tuesdays Winners 4/19

We have a great card today including two NBA playoff winners and a couple ez winners on the diamond. Lets start this week off right!

Min Twins @ Baltimore Orioles

Im going with this game for several reasons, and the biggest one will be Carl Pavano. After a rough opening day he as rebounded nicely giving up just 1 earned run in his last 16 innings. In Pavano's last game vs the Orioles he was able to pitch a complete game shut out, and the game before that he threw 8 innings and only gave up 2 earned runs. Arrietta did not fare as well vs the Twins last year as he was battered around and handed the loss. He also has over a 7.00 era this season, and when you pair that with the Orioles having lost 8 straight games this is a easy dog to take.

Twins ( +102)

Boston Red Sox @ Oakland A's

Even though the red sox have strung together a couple wins im still not comfortable with them on the road where they are 0-6 this year. The A's will start the series with Anderson on the mount who is sporting a cool 2.29 ERA so far this season. On the other side of field the Red Sox will be countering with Lackey, who has looked older than ever this season. His era is currently over 15.00, and he looks lost out there. The A's have also won 4 of their last 5 vs the Red sox.

A's (-115)

Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic

Im really confused about this line, and thats not just because im from Atlanta. The Hawks have owned the Magic this season by winning the lasat 4 games in a row, 3 of those being on the road. The Hawks looked excellent in game 1, and the Magic had no answer for them defensively. Look for the hawks to continue to play Howard straight up, and shut down the rest of the magic. Hawks will stay close in this one, and could pull off the victory.

Hawks (+9.5)

Portland Trailblazers @ Dallas Mavericks

There arent as many stats to back this one up except for the fact the eye test screams Mav's in this one. They looked great in Game 1, and with the rest of the west struggling right now they may have a title in their sites. Look for the Mav's to run through the first round. The injury to Brandon Roy has affected his play all season, and i dont see them winning without him at full strength. Also during this series the home team has dominated, so lets roll with the Mavs.

Dallas Mavericks (-3.5)

Good Luck!

MLB Pick 4/11

Been on a tear to start the season!! Hit an early winner on Texas, but didnt have time to post. Ill start posting earlier now if possible. Gonna go with this easy winner today. Felix always dominates at home, and Seattle should be able to scratch and claw a few runs out in this one. Betting $171 to win $100 on the King.

More to come tomorrow!

Good Luck!
