College Football Winnerz 10/24

College Football 10/24

Nice winner last night with Rutgers, as they really showed me that i should fade Army all season long. I have some nice picks today to keep everyone going through the weekend!

Uconn @ West Virginia (-7.5)-

This will definetly be one of the more emotional games of the year when Uconn takes the field for the first time since the death of their starting quarterback. I think the Huskies will come out on fire, and their loss will be the fuel that will keep them going. This will not be a blow out, and even if they lose it should come down to the wire. Uconn is 6-0 against the spread this season, and that includes some tough games covering against Pittsburgh and Baylor. Overall they are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games, and 4-0 vs teams with a winning record. Even though Jarrett Brown says he will be playing today, he wont be the same qb. He is still coming off a concussion, and will be tentative at best. WVU is 1-4 ATS at home, and 1-6 ATS against teams with a winning record. They have also lost 3 of their last 4 against the spread. This should be a close one, so ill take the points. Uconn (+7.5) ***

Oklahoma @ Kansas (+8)

I think these spread would make sense if Sam Bradford was playing, but once again he will nto be playing today. That leaves Todd Reissing vs Landry Jones, In Kansas so ill take my chances. Oklahoma is 0-2 ATS on the road this year. Their only wins this season are against Baylor, Tulsa, and Idaho so im not convinced that Landry can win big games. This will be the toughest road start that Landry has faced this season, and their will be a lot of pressure to score a lot of points because everyone knows Kansas will score. Kansas is 5-1 overall on the season, and they are looking rebound from a tough loss vs Colorado. They are 4-0 ATS at home and 5-2 ATS following a loss. This should be another close game. Kansas (+8) **

Tennessee @ Alabama (-13.5)

Now here is the blowout that everyone is waiting to see. After a couple of nice dogs i really like this large favorite to blow Tenn out of the water. Mark Ingram should see plenty of daylight vs this Volunteer team, and run wild against them, but thats not why this will be a blow out. Tenn. will not be able to move the ball at all, and this great defense should force a lot of turnovers. Alabama is 7-0 on the year, and 5-2 ATS that includes some big wins both on the road and at home. In this matchup last year Alabama won by 20 in Tennessee, and won by 24 in Bama in 2007. Tennesee is back on the road after several weeks at home, and they did bring back that horrible quarterback Crompton with them :). They are also 2-5 ATS in their last seven following a win. Ill take the big favorite and the best team in the country. Alabama (-13.5) ****

Quick Picks

Duke (-4)- *
LSU (-7.5)- *

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD NIGHT!!
