NBA Friday Night Fire!

Yesterday's Recap- Not a great day yesterday as the Yankees/Phillies game ended up being a pitchers duel, and the trip for San Antonio proved to be hurtful. So was 0-2 on the day, but i feel a HUGE day coming today with a huge slate of action on the NBA.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Philadelphia 76ers

Even after a tough loss against the NBA's most dangerous team, The Orlando Magic, i believe the 76ers have a quality squad who can put up some points. If Thadeous Young and Louis Williams can come into their own this year, and Brand stays healthy this will be a dangerous team. On the other hand the Bucks are a very young team, and will take some time to grow up. The 76ers did shoot over 50% in their first game, and Speights proved he has the capability to score over 20. The 76ers have won 5 straight games vs the Bucks, and will make it 6 with a huge blowout win. 76ers (-6.5)

Washington Wizards @ Atlanta Hawks

This should be a high scoring, no defense type game as both teams love to run. Neither of these teams do much on the defensive side, but can score in bunches. Now that the Wizards have Gilbert back they have a brand new offense that can really put up some points. The Hawks are returning all of their starters and have also added Crawford who can put up 30 on any given night. Both of these teams put up over 100 points in their first game, and this game should go over very easily. Look for a 115-120 type game in this one.
Over 202.5

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Detroit Pistons

Just like i said the other day, i think the Pistons will be one of the most improved teams this year with their key additions. Ben Gordon was great in his first game, and once Prince and Villanueva get going watch out! The Thunder did have a big win in game 1, but they were playing the Kings who i regrefully say are terrible! The Pistons dominated their first game on the road vs memphis, and the Thunder will be playing their first road game of the year in a hostile environment. Prince should be able to contain Durant by using his long arms, and playing very physical. This could get ugly quick with the deep pistons! Pistons (-5)

Toronto Raptors @ Memphis Grizzlies

The Raptors played great in their first game, and dominated Lebron and the Cavs. The Raptors have a pretty deep team this year and if they can keep Calderon on the court they will be deadly team led by Chris Bosh. Toronto has proved in the past they can win on the road, and it doesnt really matter where the Grizzles play as they showed the other night losing by 20 to the pistons. The Grizzlies do have some young talent, but the veterans for the Raps will dominate this game inside. Raptors (-2)

Dallas Mavericks @ LA Lakers

If you watched any of the Mavericks game the other night you know why im betting against them today. I know the Wizards are improved with Gilbert, but they lost by ten at home to an eastern conference team. The Mavericks are not the same team, and without Josh Howard they are even worse. Jason Kidd can still play, but will not put up the numbers he used too at this age. The Lakers are a very deep team, which is why they can cover bigger spreads. Look for Odom, Kobe, and Bynum to have big games in this rout. Lakers (-8)

Lovin the favorite today!
GOOD LUCK AND GOOD NIGHT!
