MLB + Preseason NFL 8/27

Sorry for the couple week break, but the end of a long minor league baseball season can really beat on you. I have also decided to focus more on making pick than keeping track of units. Im just going to make the pick and tell you why! I will be giving a star rating between 1 and 5 for every game. I will tread lightly on baseball until the playoffs since football is right around the corner. Im not actually betting on the Eagles tonight, just thought i would throw some flare into the post :). Im not sure how Vick will do tonight, but it should be interesting to see Philladelphia's reaction to his arrival in the City of "Brotherly Love"

White Sox/Red Sox Under 9.5- The White sox have been down right pathetic on offense lately. I think just about anyone could shut them down at this point, and pair that with Tazawa who has a 2.81 ERA in his last three starts and it should be low scoring. On the other hand John Danks has been masterfull lately trying to dig the Sox out of their hole posting a 1.66 ERA in his last three starts. The first two games of this series have gone under, and seven of the Sox last 8 games have also gone under the total. * Three Star Bet

A's/ Angels Under 9.5- Like the White Sox the A's have been under the total 6 of their last seven games, and the first two games of this series. Cahill has posted a 3.15 ERA in his last three starts while Santana has been even more impressive posting a 2.57 ERA in his last three. Santana started his DL comeback rough, but has settled in nicely for the Halos. Look for this to be a low scoring battle. * Two Star Bet

Colorado -134- I normally dont take games with this much chalk, but i love the Rox in this game. I thought about run line, but decided to be smart. This will not only be Padilla's first start off of the DL, but also his first start for the first place Dodgers. On the other side of the spectrum De La Rosa has really turned it on during the Rockies historical run. He has won 12 games since June 1st, and has posted a 3.26 ERA in his last three games. The Hot Rox have won 8 of 10 games, and are right in the thick of things in the race for the NL West Crown. Look for the rockies to pull even closer. * 3 Star Bet

Rams/Bengals Under 34- Im not a big preseason better, but thought i would take a stab at a total while im anxious! Both starting quarterbacks will be out for this game, and their back ups arent anything to get excited about. The starting quarterbacks for this "slow paced" footbal game will be JTO (J.T. O Sullivan) and the infamous Kyle Boiler. To be blunt, they both are fucking awful. Neither of these teams have much depth at running back early, so look for a lot of defense. *1.5 Star Bet

Good Luck and Good Night!!
